My book "Broken Pieces"

Broken Pieces is not just a book or a story, but a journey into my life as a young girl. I've been through what some may consider mental trauma. I replayed the abuse in my head every day like an affirmation. I was always surprised when someone wanted to talk to me. I didn't think of myself as worthy or intelligent enough for someone to talk to. When I did speak to someone, I would always look at the ground or to the side, but never directly. It took years before I could look someone in the eyes. I only have God to thank for a powerful encounter that changed my whole life. I now help coach and mentor women and men who find themselves lost, disposable, unloved, and betrayed. What you went through wasn't easy; it may have been devastating and rough for that period of time, but it is still your story. No one can take that from you. You've already triumphed over the biggest obstacle in your life, and you're still here. That alone is a testimony in itself. You are worthy and capable of being everything you are meant to be.
